Fritz BacterShield 118ml / 4oz: Natural Defense for Aquatic Health

Maintain a healthier aquarium with Fritz BacterShield. This 118ml (4oz) solution contains herbal extracts designed to naturally strengthen your fish’s immune system, thereby reducing the risk of bacterial infections. Additionally, it promotes healing and recovery in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. As a result, you can protect your fish from disease and keep them stress-free.

Directions for Use:

1. First, shake the bottle well.
2. Then, add Fritz BacterShield to your aquarium at a rate of 1 tsp (5ml) per 94.64L (25 gallons). For reef tanks and aquariums with invertebrates, the dosage should be adjusted to two daily half treatments of 5 ml (1 tsp) per 189.27 (50 gallons) 12 hours apart. Treat every other day for a total of 6 treatments (2 treatments per day).
3. Day 1: Add 5ml per 37.85L
   Day 2: No medication or water changes needed
   Day 3: Add Add 5ml per 37.85L
   Day 4: No medication or water changes needed
   Day 5: Add Add 5ml per 37.85L
   Day 6: Perform a 25% water change if desired. Repeat this five-day treatment if symptoms improve, but have not completely disappeared.
4. For best results, increase water temperature above 27°C
5. Remove carbon during treatment, maintain adequate water flow or aeration
6. Bactershield® may cause excessive foam production in protein skimmers or tanks with airstones. Stop use of skimmer during treatment if excessive foaming is a concern.
7. UV Sterilizer can be used during treatment
8. Always complete a full course of treatment, even if symptoms improve or disappear before the fifth dose
9. No contraindications: can be used with all of our other products and meds

12. Do not perform water changes during the course of treatment. Bactershield® may inhibit nitrifying bacteria. If ammonia or nitrite is a concern, detoxify during treatment with Fritz Complete
13. Overdosed? Perform a large water change if distress is observed

Note:

Avoid overuse, and ensure adequate filtration while treating your aquarium.

Special note: During use some sessile invertebrates will retract for the first several hours. This condition will be temporary and may last for up to 24 hours. Tested on Stone Polyp, Brain Favites, Mushroom (Rhodactis), Ricordea sp., Favia Fragum, Plate Coral sp., Tubastraea sp., Knobby Leather sp., Acropora sp., Finger Coral (Porites) coral species.

All corals and polyps may not react the same way as the test species.
